Pat Smith, President, Lyme Disease Association Inc, presented at the 7th Annual LymeMIND Virtual Conference on November 5, 2022, on the panel, Finding Your Voice and Fighting for the Future – A Discussion on Patient Advocacy, Clinician Education and Access to Care. Other panelists were Lorraine Johnson, CEO of LymeDisease.org and principal investigator of MyLymeData; and Elizabeth Maloney, MD, President of Partnership for Tick-Borne Diseases Education, with moderator, Bennett Nemser, PhD, Senior Program Officer of the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation.
The conference was free to the public, sponsored by the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation. Other panels included advocates, researchers and clinicians in Lyme and tick-borne disease.
