The LDA is an all-volunteer national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has raised over ~$6.4 million dollars for Lyme disease research, prevention, education and patient support. The LDA has funded research projects from coast to coast and has had 39 of its funded projects published in peer-reviewed literature and has provided 16 continuing medical conferences for physicians. LDA’s LymeAid 4 Kids has awarded $273,000 toward children getting diagnosed and treated. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Federal Employee Workplace Donation
The LDA has been found eligible for inclusion on the National/International Part of the 2016 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Charity List. Each year, federal employees can contribute to charities that meet the requirements of the CFC. The LDA has been a part of CFC for 11 years running.
The LDA’s CFC 2015-2016 identification for donors is #11424 and the Lyme Disease Association, Inc. will appear in the listing of National/International Independent Organizations, which is published in each local campaign charity list. Thanks to all those volunteers who have helped with our programs nationwide, and a special thanks to those who have been contributing through their workplace CFC to the Lyme Disease Association, Inc. LDA’s. administrative and fundraising costs were determined to be only 2.8% for 2014, meaning 97.2% went directly to programs.
