September 2, 2004 ─ Pennsylvanian Kevin Magda wants to make a difference in Lyme disease education, in how Lyme disease victims are viewed, and about how the disease is diagnosed and treated. To that end, he has organized a charity golf outing at the Walnut Lane Golf Club in Philadelphia, October 2, 2004. Proceeds of the outing will benefit the Lyme Disease Association, a national non-profit funding research that is looking for a cure. Said Kevin “Lyme disease is a devastating illness that can steal your life away unless it is diagnosed and treated early and appropriately. 10-15% of cases develop into chronic Lyme, affecting many major systems in the body, especially the nervous system, including the brain.” Click here for details
