The Lyme Disease Association Salutes LDo

The Lyme Disease Association (LDA) salutes LymeDisease.org (LDo) for their work on the MyLymeData registry. Their  partnering with researchers has now resulted in UCLA & Claremont McKenna College researchers receiving a National Science Foundation grant for $800,000 for their work with the MyLymeData Registry. The collaboration has existed since the inception of MyLymeData. This grant project will use artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to answer questions including what patients remain ill.

It has taken tremendous work to produce such a registry, collect the data, and write a proposal to be funded at this level. This project can provide a tremendous amount of data on chronic Lyme, an area which has not been previously recognized by nor focused on by government and has a dearth of data. Kudos, LDo, for a job well done.”

Phyllis Mervine, President, LDoLDo is part of LDA’s LDAnet umbrella organizations and is the longest LDA affiliated organization. LDo CEO Lorraine Johnson will be speaking on the project at the LDA-Columbia Lyme & Tick-borne disease conference in Philadelphia this week, September 23 & 24, 2017. Registration is almost full.
