Suicide and Lyme and Associated Diseases, New Study
A new study published in Neuropsychiatric Disease & Treatment by Robert Bransfield, MD examines the issues surrounding Lyme disease and other associated diseases. The article mentions that a number of other infectious diseases have been associated with suicides and that providers who work with Lyme patients have noted that suicide is a cause of death in some Lyme patients. He estimates over 1200 Lyme and associated diseases suicides in the US per year.
