Reported Lyme Cases in NJ Ranked by County in 2015

 

New JerseyThe Lyme Disease Association announces the by county ranking for NJ counties for the State of New Jersey, ranked #2 in the nation in 2015 for cases reported by Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC). (Reported cases in 2015 for NJ was 4855. Click here for map). The top ten counties are mostly in the North and Central regions of the State, at least compared to maps used by the NJ Department of Transportation to divide the state into 3 regions. The State has usually been 3rd or 4th in rankings nationwide and moved to # 2 after Pennsylvania in 2015. New York ranked #3 nationwide, however CDC maintains it cannot report 25 counties in New York because they use averaging.
