Final 2013 Lyme Reported Case Numbers
The following numbers represent the final 2013 reported Lyme disease case numbers released by the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) in its MMWR, Morbidity & Mortality Weekly, August 15, 2014 / 63(32);702-715. The LDA has ranked the top 15 states in the US by CDC reported Lyme case numbers. CDC says that reported case number represent about 10% of actual Lyme cases, thus, the LDA has multiplied the reported numbers by 10 to account for the underreporting, that number is shown in parenthesis.
