Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) LDA

The LDA has been designated as a national charity included in the 2018 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) Charity List. CFC is part of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Each year, federal employees are provided with lists of approved charities for their workplace giving through the CFC. The LDA has met the requirements and been a part of CFC for 13 years running. LDA’s administrative and fundraising costs were determined to be only 3.8% for 2017, meaning 96.2% went directly to programs.

The LDA’s CFC 2018 identification for donors is #11424, and the Lyme Disease Association, Inc. will appear in the listing of National/International Independent Organizations, which is published in each local campaign charity list. About Donations

The LDA is an all-volunteer national non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that has raised over ~$6.4 million dollars for Lyme disease research, prevention, education and patient support. The LDA has funded research projects from coast to coast and has had 39 of its funded projects published in peer-reviewed literature and has provided 16 continuing medical conferences for physicians. LDA’s LymeAid 4 Kids has awarded $273,000 toward children getting diagnosed and treated.  All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.  You can donate to LDA via online, by sending in a check/money order or through the Combined Federal Campaign (if federal employee).

Federal Employee Workplace Donation

Maryland – Copies of information are available through the Secretary of State.
New Jersey – Information filed with the Attorney General concerning this charitable solicitation may be obtained from the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey by calling 201-504-6215.
New York – Copies of the annual report can be obtained from the Office of the Attorney General, Dept. of Law, Charities Bureau, 120 Broadway, New York, NY 10271.
