It is very important that the correct information on tick-borne diseases is made available to patients, the public, officials, and even physicians. Often, the controversy surrounding Lyme prevents the full spectrum of information from getting to patients, who may need it to make important decisions which affect their health and to policy makers who can positively affect how Lyme is diagnosed and treated.
