Part of LDA's mission is to provide patient support. The LDA has developed an online national doctor referral of "Lyme literate" physicians which is free, four different brochures/tick cards available for free, and two books and many videos on Lyme which are available at relatively low cost. Additionally, LDA provides a program which gives monetary grants to families of children without insurance for Lyme disease to help them get diagnosed and begin treatment (LymeAid 4 Kids).
